Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief C. Joseph Vijay has formally named his ruling political coalition the “Secular Social Justice Victory Alliance”, giving an official identity to the alliance formed with Congress and other regional parties.
The announcement was made on Wednesday, September 9, after the second major coordination meeting of the alliance at the TVK headquarters in Panaiyur, Chennai. The meeting brought together senior representatives of TVK, the Congress, Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK), Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) and Indian Union Muslim League (IUML).
