Two infants died after a fire broke out inside the Special Newborn Care Unit (SNCU) of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Hospital in Adilabad late Monday night.
The fire was reported at around 11:50 PM inside the newborn care unit, where children requiring specialised medical attention were undergoing treatment. A fire tender was rushed to the hospital and the blaze was brought under control.
