Kalyan Bainsla, the man accused of hitting a woman biker on Gurugram's Golf Course Road, has been arrested from Rajasthan, police said on September 15.
The incident took place on September 13 when the woman, identified in reports as Sia, was riding an Aprilia RS 457 with other bikers. A white Maruti Suzuki Ciaz allegedly moved towards her motorcycle and struck it, causing her to fall and the motorcycle to skid along the road. Footage of the collision was recorded on a camera mounted on her motorcycle and subsequently circulated on social media.

Following a detailed investigation and analysis of CCTV footage, police added Section 109 of the BNS, relating to attempt to murder. Police subsequently arrested Bainsla from Rajgarh/Dausa in Rajasthan.
The woman has alleged that the car followed her and deliberately struck her motorcycle. Bainsla has denied deliberately hitting her and has maintained that the collision was accidental. His lawyer has also disputed the allegation of deliberate intent.
