In a major operation against suspected inter-state narcotics trafficking, Assam Rifles, in coordination with the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Silchar, seized a large consignment of Yaba tablets valued at approximately ₹168 crore in Assam's Cachar district.
The joint operation was conducted on the intervening night of August 25 and 26 at Jujhang Pahar in Lakhipur. Security personnel recovered approximately 5,60,000 Yaba tablets weighing around 60 kilograms.
