Union Home Minister Amit Shah could not attend the scheduled inauguration of the new academic building of KLE Jagadguru Gangadhar Mahaswamigalu Moorusavirmath Medical College and the 1,200-bed KLE Hospital and Medical Research Centre at Gabbur in Hubballi on Saturday, September 19.
According to official sources, Shah developed health issues and remained at his hotel on the advice of doctors. KLE Society Chairman Prabhakar Kore informed the gathering about Shah's absence during the inauguration programme.
