The United Arab Emirates has suspended all trade, commercial exchanges and financial transactions with Iran until further notice, according to the UAE Foreign Ministry.
UAE Foreign Ministry official Afra Al Hameli, Director of the Strategic Communications Department, said the decision was taken in light of regional escalations and concerns over regional and international peace and security. She also said the UAE remained committed to protecting the integrity of the international financial system in accordance with international law and global standards.
