Mizoram has recorded its first leadless pacemaker implantation at the state-run Aizawl Civil Hospital, Health Minister Lalrinpuii said.
The procedure was performed on Monday by a team of cardiologists led by Dr Loncy V. Lalzarliana and Dr Isak Lallawmkima, with clinical and technical support from Dr Uday Shankar Das of Apollo Multispeciality Hospital, Kolkata.
