India is set to host the World Circular Economy Forum 2026 in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, from September 15 to 18, with global policymakers, business leaders, researchers, entrepreneurs and innovators expected to participate in the four-day event.
The forum will be organised under the theme “Circular Economy: Transition for People and Prosperity.” Union Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Bhupender Yadav and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will jointly inaugurate the event on Tuesday.

According to the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, more than 2,000 cross-sectoral stakeholders from over 65 countries are expected to attend the forum.
