Renault India is preparing to introduce the strong-hybrid version of its new Duster in the Indian market, with the company set to announce the model’s pricing and launch details on October 17.
The hybrid Duster will become the third powertrain option in the India-spec SUV lineup, following the existing 1.0-litre and 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engines.

Renault says its E-Tech hybrid technology can allow a significant proportion of city driving to take place in electric mode. Earlier company information indicated that up to 80% of city driving could be completed in EV mode, depending on driving conditions.
